Our results are published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology
Peer-reviewed research demonstrates measurable improvements in skin sensitivity, texture, and visible signs of aging, with formulations designed for the most sensitive (and sensitized) skin.
Why we do both clinical trials and consumer perception studies
Clinical Trials
Clinical trials measure objective, quantifiable changes in skin through precision instruments, removing subjectivity from the equation.
In our TRPV1 modulation studies, we employed specialized bioengineering devices including the Cutometer® to assess elasticity, the Tewameter® to measure trans-epidermal water loss, and the Colorimeter® to quantify erythema reduction. Expert graders provided standardized visual assessments, while VISIA digital imaging captured measurable improvements in fine lines, pores, and skin texture.
These methods generate statistically significant data - the kind that withstands peer review and publication.
Consumer Perception Studies
Consumer perception studies evaluate the user experience.
Through questionnaires and self-assessments, participants report their own perception of efficacy measurements such as reduction fine lines or wrinkles, redness, tone, or texture, as well as how products feel, absorb, and perform in daily use.
These assessments provide valuable feedback that captures real-world satisfaction but remains inherently subjective.
